    Medicare Questions

    Medicare Advantage bundles your coverage into one plan from a private company, usually with a network of doctors and often including drug coverage. A Medicare Supplement works alongside Original Medicare instead, helping with costs like deductibles and coinsurance, and lets you see any doctor who accepts Medicare. Neither is better for everyone. The right answer depends on your doctors, your health, your travel habits, and your budget.

    Most people get a seven month window around their 65th birthday: the three months before their birthday month, the birthday month itself, and the three months after. Missing it can mean waiting periods or lasting penalties, so it pays to start the conversation early. Certain situations, like still working with employer coverage, change the timing, and we can walk you through yours.

    Part D is Medicare's prescription drug coverage, offered through private plans. Each plan has its own list of covered medications and its own preferred pharmacies, which is why the best plan for your neighbor may be wrong for you.
